The Associate of Science - Automotive Electrical and Electronic Specialist program prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to operate, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment within an automobile. This includes instruction in electrical circuitry, simple gearing, linkages, and the use of test equipment. Upon successful completion of this program, students should be able to: Pass the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) smog licensing certification exam. Pass the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) national certification exam. Pass the International Mobile Air Conditioning Association (IMAC) certification exam.
