At Lethbridge Polytechnic, we know something about making a mark, about digging deep and rising up.We opened our doors in 1957 as Canada’s first publicly funded community college, and from the start we’ve been a groundbreaking institution that meets the needs of our students and our region.We welcome more than 6,500 students in 65 certificate, diploma, applied degree, pre-employment and apprenticeship programs, ranging from nursing to environmental sciences, justice studies, design, agriculture, engineering technologies and more.We teach the right stuff, with courses and programs that are hands-on, engaging, immersive and good at preparing you for the actual workforce. We have great facilities, with state-of-the-art equipment and, whenever possible, a lot of that southern Alberta sunshine. We hire instructors who are outstanding teachers but also have real-world experience in the fields they teach.
