About institution

The University of Gloucestershire offers a wide range of degrees, courses and apprenticeships at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Typically, students learn theory from industry experts and put their learning into practice in course work, real-world projects, placements and field trips. The school has a 150-year tradition of education dating back to 1847. There are over 100 academic courses to choose from and approximately 10,000 students studying at the three campuses in Gloucestershire. Located in the heart of Gloucester, Oxstalls is just 15 minutes’ walk from the city centre giving students easy access to the city’s clubs, bars, shops, theatres, venues and cafes. Oxstalls is also just around the corner from Kingsholm rugby stadium, home to Gloucester Rugby and host to a number of Rugby World Cup matches in 2015. In 2018, the University of Gloucestershire's School of Business and Technology moved to the brand-new, state-of-the-art home at the Oxstalls campus. The £18 million development is home to the school's Business, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Law and Accounting and Finance courses.
