Briercrest College and Seminary

Briercrest is a community of learning that calls students to seek the kingdom of God, to be shaped profoundly by the scriptures, and to be formed spiritually and intellectually for lives of service. Briercrest has been preparing leaders for over 80 years. Briercest College's ministry emerged from a community of believers who valued the Word of God and wanted to provide Bible training. That commitment remains at the heart of what they do and why they exist. Their aim is to call students to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ, and their approach to reaching this goal is increasingly unique in the educational landscape.

 

Briercrest believes that education and calling shouldn't be disconnected. That's why they work to offer students programs in an environment that prioritizes spiritual and intellectual transformation, where students have rich, faith-building encounters with Scripture, and prepare not only for the career ahead, but for their calling: a life of service to Christ. Briercrest College is a Christian post-secondary institution built on three pillars: a biblical/theological foundation, the formation of Christian life and service competencies, and reflection of these in arts, science, and marketplace learning. Briercrest Seminary is an innovative centre for accredited graduate level ministry training, leadership development, and theological education, utilizing modular formats to broaden the scope of educational opportunities.
