Zhejiang University of Science and Technology

ZUST was founded in 1980, initially known as Hangzhou Industrial School Attached to Zhejiang University. Over 40 years’ development, ZUST has grown into a first-class application- oriented provincial university with distinctive international and regional characteristics. 

ZUST enjoys two fascinating campuses. XiaoHeshan Campus is situated in Xihu Scenic Area, adjacent to Xixi Wetland, covering a land of more than 126.7 hectares with 470,000 square meters’ buildings and construction. Anji Campus is located in Anji of Hu Zhou city the birthplace of Xi Jinping’s “Two Mountain Theory: Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”, with a land of more than 66.7 hectares and 170,000 square meters’ buildings and construction. In the two campuses of ZUST are 17 schools and 1 teaching center which offer 57 undergraduate programs, 6 master's academic degree programs under first-class disciplines, and 8 master's professional degree programs. At present, there are more than 19000 full-time undergraduate and graduate students and nearly 1000 international students in ZUST. The total value of the teaching and research equipment of ZUST is about 500 million Yuan, and the volumes of books over 1.90 million.
