Australian Airline Pilot Academy

Both AAPA and AAPA Victoria are wholly owned by Regional Express (REX), the largest independent regional airline in Australia and as such have ingrained airline operating philosophies. The Academy’s curriculums, training and procedures are specifically designed to meet the high standards and stringent criteria of international airlines and civil aviation regulators for Commercial and Air Transport pilots. Consequently, all AAPA graduates can be assured that they will be trained to meet the highest standards demanded by airline operators. Both AAPA and AAPA Victoria have been training professional pilots for a wide range of airlines for over 10 years and has combined graduated over a thousand cadets who are now flying for airlines all over the world.  In addition to both being accredited by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Australia (CASA), AAPA Wagga is accredited by the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam (CAAV) and the General Civil Aviation Authority of the UAE (GCAA) and AAPA Victoria is also accredited by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS). The Chinese authorities have accorded AAPA Victoria one of the largest annual training billets for a foreign academy.
