University of Lynchburg

The University of Lynchburg is a private university that is located in Lynchburg, Virginia. It was founded in 1903 as Virginia Christian College and is associated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). At the university, students develop their talents, knowledge and skills. They are prepared for a career, but along with this, they are also trained to advocate for themselves and others.  The university offers various undergraduate and graduate degree programs through its five colleges- Lynchburg College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education, Leadership Studies and Counseling College of Health Sciences, College of Business, and the Westover Honors College. The university provides three doctoral degrees and several other certificate programs as well.
