The MPH in epidemiology is STEM designated and designed for students seeking to acquire skills in the fundamental methods of disease investigation and prevention in large populations. In addition to foundational public health knowledge, courses in this program emphasize basic and advanced epidemiologic and biostatical principles and their application to current problems in public health. Graduates of this program are ready to serve as epidemiologists in public health research or practice settings such as health departments, academia, industry, and research institutions.
