Course overview
Our Accounting and Finance course is carefully designed to help you achieve a career as a chartered accountant or finance professional, plus you’ll get an excellent university experience. Highlights of the course include: 12 of 15 exemptions from Associate Chartered Accountant qualification of ICAEW, Maximum exemptions from ACCA and CGMA(CIMA). 5% of UoG graduates are in work or further study within 15 months of graduating (Graduate Outcomes Survey published 2024 and based on 2021/22 leavers), Working with real businesses – strategic partnership with Griffiths Marshall (GM), Accounting and Wealth Management Firm, State-of-the-art Trading Room. In addition to the required accounting and finance areas, you will study futuristic subjects such as Data Analytics, Forensic Accounting, Wealth Management and Social and Environmental Reporting. Simulations with companies within the accounting and finance sector are embedded in your degree, underpinning your learning with real-world application.
