Each year, exciting opportunities await our grads. From med school or vet school to jobs in the laboratory, USM students are set up for success. During your chemistry studies at USM, you will have hands-on experience in labs and small class sizes. You will have the opportunity to participate in independent research with expert faculty. Research is put to the test at national and regional professional conferences, including the Kansas Academy of Science and the American Chemical Society. USM’s chemistry program is well-suited for students who plan careers in business, secondary education, technical support, or other areas related to the sciences.
