The Biochemistry degree track is designed for students interested in going to medical, dental, or pharmacy school. In addition to the general degree requirements, the track requires satisfactory completion of courses in chemistry, mathematics, physics, and biology. This track has fewer required chemistry and math courses than other tracks in the B.S. Chemistry program. These courses provide a broad foundation in the field and permit flexibility for evolving and changing student interests. A broad range of upper-level elective courses exists to expose students to modern fields within the chemical sciences, and to help students broaden their college experience.
