As a business management major at JMU, you’ll be prepared to lead effectively in a dynamic global business environment, using a variety of resources to achieve your organizational goals.You'll cultivate these in-demand skills with coursework in project management, evidence-based decision making and management of technology and innovation. In addition to a rigorous core curriculum, you’ll have the option to specialize in the areas of human resource management, innovation and entrepreneurship, or management consulting.Management skills are broadly applicable and our graduates go on to a wide range of professions in both the public and private sector. The major is also designed to help those thinking of starting their own business or aiding a family business. Finally, many students find the broad business training of the management major a helpful foundation for future graduate study.
