They will continue to shape the world, requiring highly-trained and skilled professionals to understand computer programs and hardware, programming languages, networking and server security, software and web development, as well as the latest advances in computer technology and equipment. In practically every facet of life, from banking and business to transportation and telecommunications, computers play a crucial role. With four tracks to choose from, students will be ready to stand out in today’s evolving world of technology and data. Management information systems (MIS) equips students with knowledge of information technology, management techniques, and organizational development. The curriculum prepares students for a career developing and supporting business processes using information systems, emphasizing methods, concepts, and practical applications. Students will gain an integrated skill set with a deep understanding of how technology fits within any company or organization.
