In this program, you will learn how new technologies can solve problems, deal with contemporary issues, and create future possibilities. You will develop games, wearable technology, mobile apps, virtual and augmented reality and interactive installations. You will learn core digital skills as well as the value of working together in a creative environment, incorporating art and design, and exploring your own interests. You will also work directly with our industry and community partners through real-world testing and internships. The broad range of skills covered in Digital Futures are made possible by our internationally renowned faculty whose expertise span art, design, science, and business. The Bachelor of Design / Bachelor of Fine Art – Digital Futures is a cross-disciplinary double degree that merges creative design, digital technologies, and contemporary art practices. It prepares students to become innovative digital creators who can work across industries like media arts, interactive design, game development, virtual reality, and digital storytelling.This program allows students to explore both the conceptual and aesthetic side of fine art and the practical and technical side of design, with a focus on emerging digital platforms and experimental media.
