The MDes in Strategic Foresight and Innovation (SFI) is a forward-thinking, interdisciplinary design program that blends design thinking, systems thinking, and futures/foresight methods to address complex social, technological, and business challenges. It prepares students to design strategies and solutions that are visionary, human-centered, and responsive to emerging global trends.This program is typically positioned within creative and applied design education, but strongly overlaps with business innovation, policy design, and social change.You’ll learn complex problem finding, framing and solving to create sustainable futures. Lead innovation alongside a diverse cohort of peers including entrepreneurs, social scientists, artists, designers and engineers to imagine, plan and develop a better world. This program prepares you to think holistically - exploring, challenging and finding meaning in order to re-frame and guide both present and future actions.
