With a Master of Arts in teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL), you’ll gain the theory, skills and hands-on experience you need to teach English as a second or foreign language. In this program, you’ll explore the latest research in linguistics, language acquisition and teaching methodologies, while applying those insights directly to classroom practice.You’ll learn how to design effective lessons and materials, create assessments and deliver instruction to culturally and linguistically diverse learners from kindergarten through adult education.
