The BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering course offers in-depth technical training for a mechanical engineer. By practicing in our labs as well as the labs of our local industry partners, you will be provided with opportunities to develop, or contribute to, real world solutions to real world problems around transportation, energy, power generation and manufacturing. The course covers all necessary core subjects of Mechanical Engineering, and the specialisms in this respected general degree include units which can be applied across the manufacturing sector, or more specifically in areas of design and development of every kind of machine – from aircraft jet engines and super cars to motorcycles and UAVs, etc.
