Graduate Certificate in Information Technology (GCIT)

The Graduate Certificate in Information Technology (GCIT) provides essential IT knowledge and skills suitable for employment across various industries or for further studies in IT. Students gain industry-relevant skills in cybersecurity, networks, software development, web, and database systems. Whether they lack a computing background or seek to augment industry experience with academic qualifications, this course caters to diverse learners’ needs. The Graduate Certificate in Information Technology (GCIT) is a 4-month full time or part-time equivalent postgraduate program. The subjects have been aligned with the first trimester of the MCS. Students have the option of either continuing through to the MCS or graduating with the GCIT after completing one trimester.
