Contemporary Journalism is a three-semester graduate certificate program that will explore new tools, trends and directions in journalism while emphasizing sourced, credible and verifiable storytelling. It emphasises credible, sourced storytelling alongside emerging tools like mobile journalism, social media, data journalism and virtual reality. Students learn news reporting, writing, editing, visual storytelling and multimedia production. It culminates in a hands-on field placement where you apply your skills in a real-world context.
