Well-trained environmental technologists look for and provide solutions as pressures from population, industry and society continue to stress our world. Named one of the top emerging employment sectors by Statistics Canada, technologists provide innovative ways to reduce and reverse human impact on the environment and work towards a more sustainable way of living. Students in this program gain valuable hands-on experience through various learning environments including the lab, classroom and field. In addition, an 80-hour field placement or two 420-hour co-op terms allow students to gain real-world experience. Pathways to universities in Canada and around the world are available where you can earn your degree in as little as one year.
