Course overview

Do we have to expect more flooding or more droughts?  Right at the beginning of the first semester, we focus on the physico-climatological fundamentals of climate change before we combine this knowledge with basic engineering skills with a special emphasis on renewable energies. In the second part of your study, we link your knowledge to basics in enviromental economics, law and psychology, in order to make you familiar wirh the possibilities of state bodies to enforce enforce climate protection goals. On the other hand we also equip you with various management skills, to prepare you for energy- and sustainability-related tasks in private businesses. Our holistic teaching and learning approach in small groups is accompanied by various excursions between multi-day outback experiences on climate change, and visits of sustainable city quarters or environmental technologies in enterprises. Our range of study programmes in Engineering, Management, Sustainability and Industrial Engineering is very diverse. Let yourself be inspired.
