The MCivilEng degree will be offered in both research and taught options. The research pathway will incorporate either a 120-point or a 90-point thesis option. Students completing the research pathway or the taught pathway (with a 30-point research project) will be eligible for the award of Honours and may be able to progress to the PhD. The 120-point pathway will be primarily for students who have already completed our 4-year BE(Hons) or equivalent. The 180-point is geared towards students who have a relevant Bachelors degree.
