The BSc (Hons) Applied Psychology is designed to help you develop an understanding of the theories that inform care and education service provision and will enhance your practice and career progression. The course is aimed at those with an interest in human development and behaviour, and who may be working in settings where they support children and/or adults. You will learn to investigate questions, exploring contemporary issues centred on people’s lives, and acquire the skills necessary to apply theory and research to the real world, giving you the context needed to put your skills to use in the workplace. While this is a full-time course, typically this course generally only requires one-two days in campus attendance, supported by self-directed study. This means you can continue to work alongside your studies and balance other commitments.
