Our Veterinary Science MRes will give you specialist training in a broad range of topics. You'll learn the theory and practical techniques you'll need for a successful research career in veterinary science. Your studies will focus on one of two areas: veterinary science and veterinary education. You'll design, plan and deliver an original and independent research project, with supervision and support from our research experts. Training in key skills is also provided, with options to focus on advanced taught elements, with the research project reduced accordingly. Skills you'll learn will depend on the nature of your chosen project. You'll need to complete:attend ance certificates to show that you've completed the training programme to the value of 20 credits, assessments for all taught modules you take, a written dissertation of up to 35,000 words and an optional verbal examination (at the discretion of the examiners), where you explain your project in-depth to an examination panel.
