Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

Southern Utah University’s Department of Computer Science and Information Systems (CSIS) provides rigorous ABET-accredited programs that enable students to pursue graduate studies and careers in computer science and information systems. Faculty are dedicated to the success of students in and outside of the classroom, and have expertise in various areas of computer science and information systems. The body of knowledge resulting from this discipline contains theories for understanding computing systems and methods; design methodology, algorithms, and tools; methods for the testing of concepts; methods of analysis and verification; and knowledge representation and implementation.
