This Forensic Science program will pair your passion for science, analytical thinking, and methodology with an interest in criminology and the latest in crime-solving techniques. You’ll gain hands-on experience so that you can work in a crime lab at the local, state, or federal level. The forensic science field is quickly evolving with new technologies and techniques, increasing the importance that the science behind evidence collection is reliable. This program teaches you a strong foundation in the natural sciences with a focus on critical thinking. At the same time, you’ll learn about the criminal justice process, the latest technologies available, and how to explain and compare the collection of criminal evidence for use in criminal trials.
