Course overview

The Event Management course will equip you with the knowledge, and skills you’ll need to create and manage engaging experiences like music festivals, concerts, community gatherings, fashion events, virtual events and more. Creating memorable events require imagination, social awareness, technological innovation and meticulous organisation, so our Bachelor and Diploma degrees cover the entire spectrum of these skills. You’ll gain experience in the many professional roles, processes and practices of event management. Along your journey, you’ll develop an in-depth understanding of experience design principles, community engagement, risk and opportunity management, cultural practice and social sustainability—and graduate with the ability to bring all these components together. While Collarts emphasises creative events in the worlds of music, film, fashion and art, the course will prepare you to follow your own area of interest by delivering skills and theoretical knowledge you can carry into Event Management jobs across any industry.
