Christian Heritage College (CHC)
The Bachelor of Human Services offers an employment pathway into contemporary human services contexts. It engages meaningfully with important questions of human experience and develops graduates who are well-equipped to improve society through effective people-helping practice. The course emphasises both theory and hands-on experience and develops essential skills in working with diverse groups of people in managing the issues they face in modern society. The Bachelor of Human Services offers three specialisations: Family Support and Child Protection, Human Behaviour, and Youth Work. Students undertake either a practicum stream or a coursework stream within their chosen specialisation. Feedback from students shows that they appreciate the practice-informed classes provided by lecturers who are experienced industry professionals. Students who successfully complete the Diploma of Social Science may articulate to the Bachelor of Human Services. Students who are enrolled in the Bachelor of Human Services may exit with the Diploma of Social Science, subject to the completion of course rules.
