The MPH with Extended Placement is a two-year, campus-based master’s programme that blends public health theory, practice and research, and includes a substantial work placement element. Throughout the course you’ll study core modules on public health foundations, research methods, epidemiology and optionally specialise in areas such as environmental health, nutrition or leadership. The “extended placement” component (typically a 30-week placement) gives you hands-on practical experience working in a public health setting, helping to enhance your employability and apply your learning to real-world contexts.
