Civil engineering technologists provide technical support and services to engineers, architects, scientists and other professionals. The Civil Engineering Technology program covers a broad range of content, allowing you to develop a diverse skillset with a multitude of career and employment options. All students in the program share a common first year in which they build fundamental skills, develop theoretical knowledge and use state-of-the-art software and equipment to explore different aspects of civil engineering. Students then choose one of five specialization programs to pursue until graduation. With work opportunities integrated into the curriculum – including two paid co-op terms – you gain valuable experience, build your industry network and prepare yourself for a career after graduation.
