Medical Sciences focuses on the biophysical foundation of human health. In addition to courses in anatomy, biology, physiology and the social sciences, we offer advanced courses in clinical epidemiology, cardiology, medical microbiology and pharmacology. Ample opportunities for experiential learning are offered through the Brock Functional Inclusive Training Centre (BFIT) as well as community organizations such as Niagara Region Public Health, Pathstone Mental Health, Grand River Health, and multiple others. Learning is enhanced through research opportunities and laboratory experiences in courses such as human immunology, parasitology, pathology and anatomy. Graduates of this program have the foundation to pursue other advanced and professional degrees in medicine, dentistry, rehabilitation or occupational therapy, among others.
