We live in an information society. Nothing could be more important than protecting that information. Today, security software professionals are in high demand. With a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity, students can test, implement and configure any new security software and/or technologies, apply sound security policy to their daily jobs, and provide protection and disaster recovery to companies' business systems. By the end of this program, students should be able to:
- -List the fundamental concepts of information assurance and cyber defense.
- -Identify the vulnerabilities in network infrastructures, and monitor the attack activities.
- -Describe proactive/reactive protocols, tools and techniques, apply the countermeasures.
- -Produce secure software components and perform software security analysis.
- -Describe cryptographic protocols, tools and techniques and apply crypto algorithms.
- -List applicability of laws and policies and describe the compliances and their impacts.
