Australian Institute of Higher Education (AIH)
The Associate Degree of Business (Project Management) is embedded in the Bachelor of Business (Project Management) and has been designed as an exit qualification. It equips students with the skills needed for paraprofessional in project management roles in any business and further study at the bachelor level. The course provides students with a broad general education focusing on developing students’ knowledge and skills in project management and business. Students are required to study seven core units which include Academic Skills for Success; Business Communication & Stakeholder Management; Accounting for Managers; Principles of Management and Organisations; Foundations of Information Technology; Business & Corporations Law; Statistics and Principles of Data Analysis for Business. These core units are enhanced with seven specialised project management units which follow the PMBOK knowledge and methodologies. Students select two electives from a pool of units to complement the core and specialised units.
