Students can learn techniques that successful managers use to oversee people, projects, finances, logistics and other key areas in the competitive world of international business. First, students will study the fundamentals of management, then, they will take courses in a specialty area (event management, human resources, accounting or project management) and, finally, they will get experience during an internship in a U.S. organization. Students will learn:
- -How to take a global approach to human resources, marketing, and finance
- -How to conduct business globally
- -Managing change given rapid evolution of work environments
- -Using global negotiations, competitive advantage, and other strategies to further high-level goals
- -Building specialized skills to create a successful event, manage large-scope projects, apply advanced accounting principles, or strengthen an organization's workforce
