Students will build a career out of their fearlessness of complicated statistics and datasets. They will collect and analyze overwhelming data for companies by first understanding how to find valuable nuggets of information. Students will apply cloud-based and other technologies to uncover algorithms that lead to predictions on consumer patterns. They will simplify the research that leads to the next big business decision and capitalize on the need for more professionals in this promising field. Students will learn:
- -The essentials of practical and contemporary management methods
- -How to "mine" and predict patterns in data for problem-solving and other initiatives
- -Cloud-based technologies and how they support Big Data
- -How these skills and others are applied in an American business or how to promote themselves to another American business
