Australian College of Community & Health Sciences (ACCHS)
This qualification reflects the role of individualsn who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. The course covers a range of competencies essential for management processes and effective leadership in an organisation. Individual in leadership roles demonstrate initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own performance and work outcomes, as well as of team members. This course helps develop communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements. Students will also develop skills and knowledge in managing teams, work relationships, continuous improvement, professional development, and workplace learning. Face to face on campus for 20 hours/wk + 10 hours/wk self-study. 52 weeks (1 year) (including 40 training weeks and 12 weeks holiday). There are twelve (12) units of competency in this course.
