BSB50120- Diploma of Business + BSB60120-Advanced Diploma of Business

BSB50120- Diploma of Business: This qualification would apply to individuals with various job titles including executive officers, pro gram consultants and program coordinators. Individuals in these roles may possess substantial experience in a range of settings, but seek to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions. Conversely, it may also apply to those with little or no vocational experience, but who possess sound theoretical business skills and knowledge that they would like to develop in order to create further educational and employment opportunities. Face to face on campus for 20 hours/wk + 10 hours/wk self-study. 52 weeks (1 year) (including 40 training weeks and 12 weeks holiday). There are twelve (12) units of competency in this course. 

 

BSB60120- Advanced Diploma of Business: The BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business, is a nationally recognised qualification. This course reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. These individuals may have general management accountabilities. Individuals in these roles carry out complex tasks in a specialist field of expertise. They may undertake technical research and analysis and will often contribute to setting the strategic direction for a work area.  The course is suited to individuals who are responsible for the supervision and leadership of a team or work area (including by managing staff performance and making staffing decisions). Successful completion of this course can also be a pathway to pursue other advanced diplomas qualifications, or graduate certificate/ graduate diploma qualifications with 3 years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise. Alternatively, the students will be able to access the appropriate employment.
