This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a broad range of tasks on a variety of light vehicles in the automotive retail, service and repair industry.The Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR30620) is a vocational qualification that trains students to be competent automotive mechanics working on light vehicles (up to ~4.5 tonnes). During the course, students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical, hands-on experience in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing key vehicle systems — including engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, braking, and electrical systems.
