This course is designed for students that have never flown before and wish to have a career in aviation as a pilot. The course comprises of 10 Units of Study, each of 4 weeks in duration – and therefore takes 40 weeks to complete (plus scheduled holidays mid-winter and late December. Students are enrolled in a Part 142 CASA Integrated Course (theory and practical flight training.) Cessna and Piper aircraft are used, which are ideal in preparing students for their first jobs in aviation. Most of the course occurs weekdays, however students will also conduct a fly-away, which can be to places like the Gold Coast or Uluru.
