Digital disruptions like Artificial Intelligence or telemedicine are swiftly reshaping healthcare services, improving citizens quality of life and supporting the health ecosystem transition towards value-based healthcare. The main aim of our interdisciplinary Master in Digital Healthcare is to build a digital health workforce to bridge the current knowledge gap between health and technology to address the health-related societal challenges throughout the development and implementation of evidence-based digital solutions. Health and social care systems, insurers, service providers, pharmaceutical companies and the broad range of stakeholders that are part of the health ecosystem need to adapt and embrace emerging disruptive technologies to gain competitiveness, create new business models or simply ensure the sustainability of the system. As digital health consolidates, health, pharma and technology organizations will need to recruit clinicians, engineers and managers equipped with technology innovation knowledge and skills, and a deep understanding of the complexity of the health and social care sector.
