This course will deepen your understanding of contemporary Information Technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and the Internet of Things while providing you with a solid foundation on computer networks, software development, data structures & algorithms, and cybersecurity. Your professional development will be enhanced by completing practical assessment activities in problem-solving and ICT solution development. In addition to core units, the course builds substantial expertise in areas such as Smart Cities, Big Data Analytics and Cybersecurity through the completion of research projects. You will gain expert knowledge in your chosen field through a specialisation in Big Data Analysis, Pervasive Computing or Smart Environments. The Master of Computing is also available via an online delivery mode. Advanced standing may apply to students who have completed relevant undergraduate and postgraduate study.
