Start your pathway to an exciting career in civil construction and urban planning. During this course you will develop skills to work autonomously to plan and determine the selection of equipment, and roles and techniques for site specific work designs to meet client’s site requirements. You will demonstrate the application of a broad range of technical, managerial, coordination and planning skills. Learn how to schedule and estimate construction tasks, calculate foundation and footing requirements, and manage a project schedule. In addition, you will learn about structural requirements, local building and construction standards, codes and practices and structural mechanics. You will create detailed drafting, technical specifications, schedules, and bill of quantities for a building project.
