Focus on six integrated themes of nursing practice, including safety and quality, cultural safety, evidence-based practice, professional communication, consumers as partners in care, and teamwork. You'll also learn about cultural competence, mental health, primary healthcare and healthy ageing. Embark on 1,000 hours of nursing placements from your first year of study, in clinical settings across South Australia. Graduate with the academic requirements needed for registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
