Primary teaching is a stimulating and rewarding career. As a primary school teacher, you will provide the foundation for lifelong learning in young minds. You’ll also be entering an industry in demand, with roles in primary teaching expected to grow. Data from the Australian Government’s Job Outlook (June 2023) indicate that primary teaching roles will grow by 5.1% between 2021 and 2026. This course will prepare you to create learning experiences that will encourage, challenge, support and extend all learners. You will develop your own creative approaches to respond to the diverse needs of your students. You’ll be qualified to teach primary subjects in the Australian Curriculum and other frameworks.
