Gain the essential skills and knowledge to work as an enrolled nurse in a variety of healthcare settings with our nursing course. In this rewarding career, enrolled nurses care for patients under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. During this health course, you'll learn how to implement general nursing care, assess client's health and analyse health-related information. You’ll also learn how to administer and monitor medications and attend to the needs of a range of healthcare clients, including older clients, acute care clients and people with mental health conditions. The course will assist you to develop effective communication skills and understand how to work within legal and ethical parameters in nursing. You will complete a minimum of 400 hours of mandatory clinical placement in a range of healthcare settings across metropolitan, regional and rural areas.
