Bachelor of Oral Health (Therapy and Hygiene) in cooperation with the Australian Dental Council, the Australian Dental Association, local dentists, oral health practitioners and senior consultants to ensure you graduate with the skills and knowledge for successful practice.The Bachelor of Oral Health (Therapy and Hygiene) is an undergraduate degree that trains students to become qualified oral health therapists—health professionals who combine the roles of dental hygienist and dental therapist. The course focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of oral diseases, especially in children and adolescents, as well as periodontal care and oral health education for people of all ages.Students gain practical skills in scaling and cleaning teeth, applying preventive treatments, restoring teeth, and delivering oral health promotion. The degree includes both theoretical learning and clinical training in dental clinics, hospitals, and community health setttings.
