ICT40120 Certificate IV in Information Technology: This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are job ready and competent in a wide range of information and communications technology (ICT) roles and apply a broad range of skills in varied work contexts, using problem solving skills and effective communication with others. This course provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to install and manage small scale networks and manage network security either as an independent network support technician or as part of a team. This course is designed to develop essential knowledge and skills in the areas of network and systems administration support. Student shall learn to install, configure server, local area networks, and test network security infrastructures, respond to security incidents and threats, and ensure system integrity.
