Course overview

Western’s Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) will put you on the path to a career in teaching children from birth to 5 years. With growing worldwide recognition of the importance of the early years in fostering children’s healthy learning and development, be a part of laying the foundations for children’s educational success as an early childhood teacher. Our Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) is specifically designed as an initial teacher qualification, equipping graduates with the specialist knowledge and skills to teach effectively in early childhood education and care settings with children from birth to 5 years. During your studies, you will gain 80 days of professional experience, as well as the theoretical experience by developing a professional e-portfolio throughout the course of the program to demonstrate your capacity to work successfully as a graduate teacher.
