Gain the clinical skills and experience you need to become a registered nurse (RN) in just two years with La Trobe's Master of Nursing Practice. In this degree, you'll build on your existing Bachelor's degree qualification – in any discipline – and develop the clinical knowledge and skills you'll need to upskill or change careers in the health sector. You'll learn the theory from leading clinicians and academics at the La Trobe Rural Health School and then apply it in the real world with clinical placements (800 hours) in leading regional and rural hospitals and healthcare providers. By studying La Trobe's Master of Nursing Practice, you will:
- -Develop foundational knowledge in primary care, acute care, chronic illness, Indigenous health, mental health, rehabilitation, community and emergency care, biosciences and research
- -Gain in-demand skills in leadership, time management, critical thinking and communication
- -Apply what you've learned in our state-of-the-art nursing simulation labs
- -Study closer to home at our Albury-Wodonga, Bendigo and Mildura Campuses
