You will study in facilities at an accessible rural setting, including our commercial-standard property at Yan Yean - a commercial 600 hectare mixed farming operation, demonstrating mixed pasture and broadacre cropping, as well as cattle, sheep and pasture production facilities. An agronomist specialises in commercial plant production, along with understanding soil science, animal production, cultivation techniques, and technology to improve productivity and sustainability of farms and agricultural industries. This qualification provides an essential base for a career as an agronomist, with unique experience that opens doors direct to industry.
